$75,000 in chips stolen from blackjack table
A thief stole the chips from the Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort
A Hispanic male wearing a T-shirt and dark trousers stole 15 chips from a high-roller blackjack table at the Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort. According to Casino officials, the chips were valued at $75,000.

The theft occurred at 6 p.m. on Monday, as informed by the Division of Gaming Enforcement of the State Police. Detective Sergeant David Hickman said that the thief entered the premises, grabbed the 15 chips and fled the casino.

“Anyone can redeem a chip, but a chip of that value brings more attention. Twenty-dollar chips are a dime a dozen. But not everyone comes to the gate with a $5,000 chip”, Hickman explained.
