Famed punk-rock club CBGB is trading for a blackjack table
The New York Institution — which will be evicted from its current location on the Bowery sometime in 2006 — is in talks to secure a new home near the Aladdin Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Club owner Hilly Kristal confirmed he is looking at Desert Passage, a 475,000-square-foot retail and entertainment strip that surrounds the Aladdin. Two casino sources said he is in negotiations.
