According to reports, female gamblers have increased so much that now there is an equal number of the men and women who gamble. Table games, like Blackjack, have shown the most dramatic increase of all, despite the stereotype that indicates that women tend to play games such as slots, video poker and bingo.
In honor of its female gamblers, a “Ladies’ Appreciation Day” will take place at Atlantic City’s Trump Marina Hotel Casino. Women constitute more than half of this casino’s players. The event will include male models, free chocolate and a blackjack tournament.
