Poker stars show up at the Irish Poker Open
The tournament could become the biggest event ever organized in Europe
Some of the most important European and US poker players have already confirmed their presence at the 26th Irish Poker Open that will take place at the Burlington Hotel, in Dublin, on April 6 through 9 2007.

Renowned actress and professional poker player Jennifer Tilly will play the main event as well as Mike Sexton, who has won a World Series of Poker bracelet and hosts the World Poker Tour television series. Antonio Esfandari, another WSOP winner, and his fellow countrymen Chad Brown will also be competing for the main title.

Europe will be represented in the Irish Poker Open by Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliot, who has won several tournaments and a total of $4 million, and Roland De Wolfe, the winner of dozens of World and European Poker Tour titles.

Other registered players include: Donnacha O’Dea, Padraig Parkinson, Andy Black, Roy ‘the Boy’ Brindley, Marty Wilson, Lee Nelson, Michael Greco, Scott Gray, Ivo Donev, Rolf Slotboom and Julian Gardner.
So far, more than half the 700 available seats have already been taken, which means this could be the biggest poker tournament ever organized in Europe.
